U.N.

The world's dictators, low-lifes and all-around bad guys have gathered under the auspices of another U.N. get together.  If you do not know by now the U.N. is that useless organization that wastes money and resources coming up with unpalatable and unworkable solutions to imaginary problems.  Although the U.N. might have been formed with good intentions and the like it is a useless organization with not real power or purpose.  For example, today the U.N. will allow Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez to rant before the U.N. and spout his usual brand of dangerous anti-American propaganda.  What possible purpose could letting this imbecile speak serve?  Chavez has shut down all opposition in Venezuela so now he needs to take his bully pulpit to the U.N. to trash America and praise his buddy the spineless OBAMA.  Remember this is the man who famously called

[President] Bush the "devil" during his 2006 address at the U.N. General Assembly. The Venezuelan president, who is closely allied with Iran, has blasted "progressive" leaders and has called for the fall of the U.S. economy.

Other notables who will ranting at the U.N. include the rogue gallery of: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Libyan leader Muammar al-Qaddafi, and Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe.  You could not find three more hypocritical and despicable human beings if you tried. 

As an aside, I want to address Ahmadinejad and his blatant anti-Semitism this fool who has denied the

Holocaust and made repeated disgusting comments about Israel and Jewish people in general.  I am of German heritage and I was glad to read that the Germans have stated they will walk out during his speech if he once again removes all doubt of his lunacy by denying the Holocaust.  The fact that anyone will listen to him speak regardless of what idiocy he speaks is astounding.  The U.N. has undermined whatever shred of legitimacy it ever had by allowing people like Oaddafi, Mugabe and Ahmadinejad to speak.  This monsters should be executed for crimes against humanity not staying in America and being protected with tax pay money. 
As a Muslim I am embarassed that people who claim to believe in Allah actually make bigoted statements about other people of faith such as the Jewish people and the Christians.  The only true enemy of the people of Allah are the atheists and the perverted monsters like Ahmadinejad who twist the word and disregard basic human rights and common sense in pursuit of their own warped agendas.

Not to worry though because OBAMA has solved the Holy Land issue that has confused so many other leaders for over 60 years or did he?  Obama today gave a LOUD BUT EMPTY speech to the U.N. in which he came up with all sorts of magical fixes for complicated problems.  The Israel/Palestine issue is extremely complicated and has a lot of sensitive issues on both sides.  Too often people of both religions and regions are prone to get emotionally attached or invent unrealistic positions.  Certainly the people of Palestine and the Muslim world have been guilty of this mistake.  Often times our community is too quick to paint the picture as being black and white.  However, the situation is much more complicated the Holy Land is a place of extreme importance to the three major world religions: Christianity, Islam and Judaism.  In dealing with this area of the world we have to be realistic but also sensitive to religious sensibilities.  Apparently, Obama has it all figured out he stated:

Obama said four issues separate the two sides: security, borders, refugees and Jerusalem, but the goal is clear: a secure, Jewish state for Israel and "a viable, independent Palestinian state with contiguous territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967.

  [President Obama stated]:  America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements." 

Obama has just restated the same dialogue that has been kicked around for years now and he stated some optimistic outcomes but he never stated how to achieve a Palestinian state which could live in peace with the state of Israel.  Actually Mr. President for better or worse most Americans believe that Israel has the right to build settlements.

Obama's stark declaration, which drew applause, was coupled with a call for Palestinians to end their "incitement of Israel."

What exactly is Obama calling on Palestinians to do in order to stop incitement of Israel?  His comments make absolutely no sense.  He is not asking the extremists among the Palestinians to stop attacks on innocent civilians a requisite to any lasting peace plan and a moral responsibility of Israel as well.    I take two things from Mr. Obama's speech at the U.N.:  (1) he is clueless on the Israeli/Palestinian issue and (2) he believes in global communism.  He made it clear at the end of his speech that wealth distribution is not just for American taxpayers to lazy Americans who do not want to work.  Actually according to Obama the wealthy of the world have a duty as global citizens to fund a universal human welfare state for the entire population of the earth that is poor or disenfranchized that is a scary and novel concept.  He said it though not me:

[President Obama] also talked about greater integration of economies through global trade and the Millennium Development Goals.


"Now is the time for all of us to do our part. Growth will not be sustained or shared unless all nations embrace their responsibility. Wealthy nations must open their markets to more goods and extend a hand to those with less, while reforming international institutions to give more nations a greater voice. Developing nations must root out the corruption that is an obstacle to progress ... That's why we will support honest police and independent judges; civil society and a vibrant private sector," he said.

I have absolutely no objection to global trade and America conducting trade and other forms of  business on a world wide scale.  However, America is not obligated to help out any other country's economy or any inhabitant of another country.  America exists to serve the interests of its own citizens not the interests of the citizens of Zanzibar.  America is a part of the world community but is not chained or obligated in any way to that world community to act in a manner contrary to America's best interests.  Our President should remember he is a servant of the American people not the Emperor of the WORLD.
