I have decided to take a break from the political and depressing news involving the world and focus on something closer to home. Apparently my home state of Ohio is home to the world's biggest pumpkin. Apparently Christy Harp of Northeast Ohio won first place at the Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers annual weigh-off with a pumpkin that weighed over 1,700 lbs!!!
